Football fans fund Labour Tax hike

April 23rd, 2009 · No Comments

Football fans are waking up to the reality that they will be funding the tax rises announced in yesterdays budget.  For all those fans who support their favourite clubs by purchasing tickets or shirts will be starting to see an increase in costs as the players salaries are made up to cover the shortfall due to the tax rises.

The unintended consequence of Alistair Darling’s tax grab from the rich is going to impact the very people he was trying to win over, the working man & woman.  In a ploy to appease the vast majority of the UK population by targeting the rich, he has managed to make another raid on the limited budgets of the average working person in the UK.  labour goons

In terms of tax, for anyone earning over £100,000 there has been at least a 5% tax rise with the removal of the personal tax allowance, for those over £150,000 there has been an additional 10% tax rise.

But for the rest of us we will see the cost of fuel rising by 2p per litre. Alcohol is up by 2% and tobacco is up by 2%.   Sneaky little tax grabs that mask the true cost the individual.

Those in charge of the Labour party must be held to account.  No amount of spin should be allowed to save them from severe punishment.
