Today we said goodbye to an old friend.  Gizmo our tabby cat has been a member of our family since he was born on April 12th 1990.

He died at 18:45 today in Susan’s arms with myself and Zach by his side.  He had been very ill for the last few weeks and had started to decline rapidly today.  We had taken him to the vets, cradled in our arms and while waiting to see the vet he quietly passed away.

Gizmo looked up at Susan, turned he head to look at Zach and then me and drew his last breath. 

We are really going to miss you Gizmo, you have been a fantastic friend and have given us some amazing memories.

We laid Gizmo to rest next to his mother, Jasper, in the garden and we will not forget you.
