Mary Braid writes in the Sunday Times about the issues created by workers not keeping their mind on the job. She quotes some great statistics:
…One-in-three people admitted they had indulged in drugs while at work — including cannabis, ecstasy, cocaine and amyl nitrate.
Before drugs it was sex..
…In 2002, researchers at California State University discovered that one-in-five employees had engaged in full sexual intercourse with a colleague during working hours.
But now the Internet has found a place;
…If further proof is needed that some of us don’t always have our minds on the job we are paid to do, another survey found that 15% of American workers spend all day surfing Internet sites completely unrelated to work.

Now would the 35% who should be working stop reading and return to your desk.
