An article by MYWIRE quoted AFP today saying that poachers have shot the last two white rhinos in Zambia, killing one and wounding the other, in a night operation at the Mosi-Oa-Tunya national park in Livingstone.

It strikes me that these people are a bit dim-witted.  While they have managed to make a quick buck by getting the rhino horn they have at the same time ended the supply.

One can only hope that they are quickly caught and used as food for some of the other animals in the game park…  Only to act as a deterrent to others of course..
