A list of the schools one might expect to see, however it is topped by a school that I had not heard of….

1) The Purcell School – Fees per year £29,577 Based in Bushey, in Hertfordshire, this is Britain’s oldest specialist music school.

2) Tonbridge School – £28,140

3) Eton College – £28,080

4=) Harrow School – £28,005
4=) Wycliffe College – £28,005

6) Winchester College – £27,870

7)Marlborough College – £27,690

8 ) Malvern College – £27,633

9) King’s School, Canterbury – £27,630

10) Benenden School – £27,540    Founded in 1923, the school is one of the leading girls’ public schools and is situated near Cranbrook, in the Kent countryside.
